Day 40 Sun 20.03.2011
Location: 2nd day Aire L’Alfas de Pi (Camper Park Costa Brava) Nr. Benidorm
Long / Lat  N 38º 35.02’ W 000º04.53’
We arrived in Benidorm on a festival day, Dia de San Jose, this is a bonfire festival, lighting bonfires, burning caricatures made of papier-mâché and setting off fireworks.
The aire is not that near to the town so we didn’t see the festival but we did hear the fireworks and the dogs barking at the fireworks!
This morning a bakers van called arrived at the aire just before nine, Paul got some bread so we don’t have to go shopping today.
We have finally found a rubbish bin, there are signs on the fence forbidding buckets of water and bins of rubbish which confussed us a bit. We are the only Brit van parked here, lots of French Belgium and Dutch.
The aire is very well run by the Belguim owner and the toilets are the cleanest I have see on a campsite, they should get an award.  We are surrounded by orange groves and there are oranges on the trees. (I want to pick one).

We are having a bit of a lazy day today, tomorrow we are going to try to find a supermarket and then move to another site.
