Day 110 Sunday 29.05.2011
Location:  Minheim Stellplatz, Mosel Valley, Germany
Long / Lat : N 49º51.953’ E 006º56.519’
We left the stellplatz at Wintrich early, our parking ticket was valid until 9.30am and if we had left after this time we would have had to pay for another 24 hours.
We have moved to the stallplatz at Minheim, the one that we checked out from the other side of the river on our bike ride. When we arrived the stellplatz was very busy but we were amazingly lucky, someone pulled out of one of the riverside spots just as we arrived and we managed to pull into the space before anyone else did.
Once again we have a stunning view of the river from our cab window.
It’s so hot today, we managed to have a little walk into the town but we spent most of the afternoon sitting by the river, drinking cold beer and feeding the ducks and swans.
A man came around at about 4.00pm to collect our parking fee, 5.00€ to park and 2.00€ for electricity, this is such a lovely place we’re going to stay for two days.
To access the area with the rubbish and recycling bins you have to enter 4321 into the keypad on the gate. A bakers van calls between 8.15 and 8.30am.
