Day 105 Tuesday 24.05.2011
Location: Kesten Stellplatz, Mosel Valley, Germany
Long / Lat: N 49º54.223’ E 006º57.683’
We arrived at the Kesten Stellplatz and realized that we had left our locking water cap at the Brauneberg (another thing to add to our wish list of useful spares). We drove the 11km back and were relieved that it was still there.
The Kesten stellplatz is lovely, we are parked on a big gravel pitch right next to the river but there are also grass pitches a behind us. The pitches are marked out and large enough to get your awning out.
We have lovely views of the river and valley, it’s very hot today and we are going to sit in the sunshine and top us out tans.
It costs 7.00€ for 24 hours with electricity, 100ltrs of water costs 1.50€, the very well stocked bread van comes round at 9.00am.
Our pitch fee was collected at about 7.00pm but they came again in the morning to check they hadn’t missed anyone.
