Day 120 Wednesday 08.06.2011
Location: Wohnmobilstellplatz Zellerhof Mehring, Mosel Valley, Germany
Long / Lat N 49º47.640’ E 6º49.175’
Last night we had torrential rain, thunderstorms and high winds. It had rained all night and we woke this morning to a very soggy stellplatz but it soon dried out when the sun came out.
While we were sitting outside eating breakfast two swans waddled over demanding to be fed, they were almost in the awning.
We have been for a walk around the town, once again lots of wine for sale (I wish I liked German wine) also a bakers, supermarket and a bank with a cashpoint machine.
It clouded over again after lunch and now feels a bit chilly (which I am rather enjoying after the recent hot humid days but Paul has wrapped himself in a blanket).
One of the big river cruise ships has moored just in front of our motorhome, the occupants of both stellplatze and the passengers enjoyed watching them come alongside and tie up. A crew member threw a line ashore to another crew member who caught it beautifully, such a pity the guy on the boat had let go of the other end.
